Our Commitment

Accessibility is not an afterthought for us — it is our mission. Reach Out Inc exists to support individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and that commitment extends to everyone who visits this website. We want every person, regardless of ability or technology, to be able to find information, contact us, and get the support they need.

Our Standard

We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We review the site against these guidelines as content is added and updated.

Accessibility Features on This Site

• A "Skip to main content" link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users
• Full keyboard navigation with clearly visible focus indicators
• Consistent, semantic headings and ARIA landmarks for screen readers
• Descriptive alternative text on images
• Color choices intended to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
• A responsive layout that supports zoom up to 200% and works on mobile devices
• Forms with visible labels on every field

Known Limitations

We are honest about where we still have work to do:

• This website has not yet had a formal, independent accessibility audit
• The map on our Contact page is embedded from Google and may not be fully accessible; our address and a “Get directions” link are provided as text alongside it
• Our forms use a third-party spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile); if it prevents you from submitting, please call us instead
• Resume uploads on the Careers page accept PDF, DOC, or DOCX files only; if that is a barrier, call us and we will help another way

If you find a barrier we have missed, please tell us — we will prioritize fixing it.

Alternative Formats & Assistance

If any information on this website is difficult for you to access, we will gladly provide it in another format — over the phone, in print, in large print, or in plain language. Call us and a member of our team will walk through anything on this site with you.
